Having trained all over the world in different healing modalities, I have come to learn that the most important aspect of healing bodywork and massage is to take the time to bring presence and awareness to what one is experiencing in their body.
When we are living stressful fast paced lives and or experiencing pain, often times our survival response is to disassociate from our body. In order to get through the day we avoid feeling the pain and tension, making our pain patterns more and more chronic in nature.
Here at Inner Mandala, our massage technique has a therapeutic approach beyond just relaxation. The main intension of our massage treatments are to bring ease to your nervous system and create a safe space for your body to unwind and let go of pain and tension patterns. When you are able to feel safe and supported, your body is able to enter the parasympathetic state where true healing occurs.
With the use of both Eastern and Western massage modalities, we are able to provide a depth of knowledge and practice in our bodywork offerings. Whether it be you are simply in need of a relaxing massage or you have chronic pain issues, we are happy to support you in bringing greater ease to your body that provides you with improvement to your overall health and wellbeing. FAQs
How many sessions should I book?
If you’re on vacation, one session is an amazing start to bringing calm and ease to your nervous system while enjoying beautiful Sedona. If you’re staying a bit longer, we recommend 3-5 sessions with the same therapist in order to thoroughly address the chronic pain patterns you may have.
Sedona locals! We offer a local discount for bodywork packages with us. Our belief is that deeper healing takes repeat visits and the building of a relationship with your therapist. Please get in touch for more details.
What modality is right for me?
Depending on what you are experiencing, different approaches can be best at different times. If you have pain and want to address chronic physical issues, Deep Tissue, Cupping Therapy and Connective Tissue Therapy are recommended. However we can blend techniques to create the perfect session for you. Feel free to reach out for a 5 minute consultation to discuss what is best for you.
